With carefully categorized academic departments into six colleges, a state of the art library complex housing a modern Information and Communication Technology Centre, several educational resource centres, modern laboratories, research facilities and a host of other facilities, KNUST delivers a high standard of education which reflects the pedigree of a University poised on attaining a status of being No. 1 in Africa. Colleges
The collegiate system introduced in KNUST made way for the introduction of six academic colleges. These Colleges are composed of faculties. These faculties are subdivided into departments. New and existing departments and programmes fall under these colleges. The departments coordinate and collaborate where necessary.
KNUST Library
The KNUST library is open to both students and the general public because we believe knowledge must be shared. There is online access to various academic and non-academic repository and online journals. All other libraries in KNUST are coordinated to make studies easier and effective. The large collection of internal and pre-subscribed books, articles, journals and other published materials means everyone can get access to any information needed.
Programmes Offered
There are several programmes offered in KNUST in fields of Arts, Science, Technology and Business among a host of others. We periodically update these programmes and add new ones to meet your educational requirements and needs.
