A three (3) member team of scientists from the Royal Society, United Kingdom (UK), visited the University and the College of Science from the 15th to the 17th of December, 2008, under the aegis of the Ghana-Tanzania/UK Partnership.

The management of KNUST and the Teachers and Educational Workers Union (TEWU) has signed an agreement on the 2008 conditions of service. The General Secretary of TEWU, Mr. Ayim Antwi re-iterated the issue of promotion within the union. He said the agreement was negotiated and agreed upon early this year.

A two member delegation from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor today in connection with a MOU to be signed by the two institutions in the area of Architecture.
