The astute Professor of Pharmacognosy becomes the 11th Vice-Chancellor of KNUST and the 1st Female to occupy that prestigious Office.
Professor Charles Ofosu Marfo has been appointed Provost of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CoHSS) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), with effect from 1st August, 2020. He is currently the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Head of the Department of Language and Communication Sciences.

His appointment takes effect from 1st August, 2020. He is currently the Head of Quality Assurance and Planning Unit and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Professor El Anatsui, a globally distinguished artist and an alumnus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has donated books worth One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) to the College of Art and Built Environment (CABE). Professor Anatsui earned his BA (Art) Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Art Education from KNUST.
